The Chamber of Achaia organized the 7 Web local forums in the prospect of MedSt@rts project of the ENI CBC MED PROGRAM 2014 - 2020 entitled "Med microfinance support system for start-ups" (Mediterranean microfinance support system for start-ups).

Project details:

The project anticipates the microfinance of area's new & start-up businesses with an emphasis on women (40% women) , which will come from the project budget.

Its main objective is to design a common cross-border mechanism to provide access to credit for people who do not meet the bank financing criteria, inspired by the principles of ethical financing and solidarity and with the participation of public and private actors.

In this context, the Chamber of Achaia organized an open call for Business Ideas and selected the 25 best proposals for Business Ideas based on project criteria, which are expected to mature through the support actions. The 25 Business Ideas are grouped in the following categories:

1. New technologies
2. Healthy Nutrition
3. Entrepreneurship & Environment
4. Creative Industry
5. Carnival Actions & Creations
6. Culture
7. Tourism

All the 7 Web local forums were held with the organizational support of Enalia Events, which as a contractor company provided management and support services  of online forums through an interactive electronic platform.
