The aim of the meeting was to inform the public about the management actions of the protected areas, species, and habitats of the Management Body within the YMEPERAA program, as well as to activate the actions to improve the conservation status of its area of responsibility. Individual presentations were made by specialized scientists related to the sea turtle Caretta caretta, the otter Lutra lutra, the muskrats as well as the tortoise Testudo marginate. The constant pursuit of the Messolonghi-Akarnanian Mountains Lagoon Management Agency remains the preservation and utilization of the natural capital of the Natura 2000 network areas of the prefecture of Etoloakarnania, as well as the promotion of the good conservation status of our important habitats and habitats.
The event was held with the efforts of the Messolonghi-Akarnanian Mountains Lagoon Management Agency in combination with the experience of Enalia Events on Friday, October 30, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Hall of the Chamber of Etoloakarnania (Papastratou 53 & Smyrni).
